Made this post in english so everyone could understand since I’ve got a lot of furniture related questions not only in swedish.

I’m so happy for all the kind comments I’m receiving about our apartment, since I really like it too. I’ve spent many many hours/days to find the right things. Always get the question where I find my inspo from and let’s just say-  I’ve searched through all kinds of books and magazines, home interior websites, instagram, pinterest to find what I like and what I thought would look good together. It was very hard since I ordered everything 3 months before we moved in and at that time we only been in the apartment for the viewing. But almost everything turned out in the way I wanted to. Worth saying- it’s not finished yet. Still waiting for many things and it takes a lot of time to build a home, but I think that is also the funny part of it. A home is always something developing and I never think you get completly ”done”.

I want my home to be a reflection of me (and my boyfriend ofc) what we like. I think you really can see my personal style in the colours etc. But I can tell you- I am the stylist of the apartment. 😉 We like the same things and to keep things simple- so it was never hard. I’ve found everything but always sent the things for a OK I like it before I ordered it hehe.

My best advice. Do not try copy someone completly even if you love their style/home – take inspo from others/specific things but match it YOUR WAY. For me the feeling is the most important. I want my home to be calm and to feel safe, clean, minimalistic BUT cozy. We have a lot of details to work on that will make it feel more ”us” and stand out more but I’m very happy with the basics so far! I’m not in to strong colours, I like the white/nude/beige/brown vibe but I do think it’s a good start since you very easily can work with details to make it look different.
